If you purchased a ticket - you are seat is reserved for the Driver’s Training Documentary Premiere, hosted by Treetops Collective in partnership with the Grand Rapids Art Museum. Please read the information below carefully to prepare you for the event.

We’re grateful to have you join us for this special afternoon celebrating the freedom and opportunity a driver’s license creates for refugee and immigrant women building their new lives in West Michigan.

1 PM - Welcome reception with light appetizers and beverages
1:15 PM - Opening remarks from Treetops Collective and Grand Rapids Art Museum leaders
1:30 PM - Guided tours of the featured As We Rise: Photography from the Black Atlantic and Parisa Ghaderi: For Dancing in the Streets Exhibits
2:15 PM - Premiere of the Driver’s Training Documentary
2:30 PM - Panel discussion with documentary participants, producers, and museum curators on the connection between GRAM featured exhibits and the documentary short
3 PM - Audience Q&A
3:15 PM - Meet & Greet with Filmmaker and Film Participants

Public Parking
Parking for your visit is easy and close by. The Monroe Center Parking Ramp, located just steps from the Museum at Louis Street and Ionia Avenue, offers the first hour free. You’ll also find metered street parking and several other public ramps within a short walk of GRAM.

Member Parking Validation
GRAM Members at the Dual Level and above receive parking validation when using the Monroe Center Ramp connected to Leo’s Restaurant.
