Join Dwell Mobile in our efforts to cultivate opportunities for resettled refugees. With a year-end goal of $40,000, Dwell can continue to build relationships that leave a lasting impact, empower families towards self-sufficiency, and provide essential services for our neighbors.

In 2025, Dwell provided over 4,500 services to more than 300 clients. Services included:

644 social adjustment services - helping with the first steps of resettlement, like turning on the lights in an apartment, paying bills for the first time, or earning a driver’s license.
299 employment services - paving the way for stronger futures and financial independence through career coaching, resume building, interview prep, and connections to local employers.
850 English language learning services - unlocking connection through language with free English classes and free childcare for a focused learning environment.
1,639 school impact services - support for school enrollment, uniforms, language learning, and parent-teacher advocacy, because success for a child strengthens the whole family.
1,146 health promotion services - knowledge and services for families to thrive in a new life through healthcare navigation, literacy workshops, wellness fairs, and vaccination clinics.

Together, these milestones tell one story: families who arrived with uncertainty are now finding stability, voice, and belonging.

In addition, Dwell Goods was created - a new thrift store for the community where all proceeds benefit Dwell Mobile. Dwell is committed to providing practical and vital resources, supporting families in their new lives by developing meaningful relationships, and helping them create better futures here in Mobile.
