In its 30th anniversary year, the Chicago Dyke March & Rally is making a comeback after a years long hiatus. Mobilize with us on Saturday, June 27 in Pilsen. EMPIRES FALL, DYKES ARE FOREVER.

In this month-long fundraising campaign, we are aiming to raise $10,000 to support this critical community event by Friday, May 29. Donations will cover infrastructure, accessibility, food, performers, etc of the Dyke March & Rally. As a grassroots organization not affiliated with a 501(c)(3), we rely on community support.

The Chicago Dyke March Collective (CDMC) has been protesting corporate pride in Chicago since the 90s. We stand in solidarity with dykes around the world, and honor the lineage of dykes who came before us. CDMC acts in the spirit of the original Lesbian Avengers' call to "seize the power of Dyke Love, Dyke Vision, Dyke Anger, Dyke Intelligence, Dyke Strategy." We reclaim DYKE as a radical politic – we fight against an oppressive world to build abundant connection.

Over the years, CDMC has held our annual dyke march and rally in the Boystown, Andersonville, Pilsen, South Shore, Argyle, Humboldt Park, and Little Village neighborhoods. We want to make sure we can reach dykes throughout the city of Chicago (and beyond!), and for that reason our intention is to continue having a presence in the South and West sides for future rallies.

CDMC will function as a bridge for Chicago dykes through regular engagement in mutual aid, political education and engagement, calls to action, and cultural events.
