Our mission is to support families in need during the holidays by providing gifts and food to make their Christmas special. Many of these families are immigrants who work tirelessly to support our community in roles such as house cleaners, handymen, and more. When we began this effort, one moment truly stayed with us: a child said, “I love to read and want to be a teacher, but I’ll probably end up cleaning houses like my mom.” This sentiment was a powerful reminder of the challenges these families face right in our own community.

In 2016, Presents for a Purpose was born. With the generosity of family and friends, we’ve delivered gifts and groceries to over 400 families and brought holiday joy to more than 1,200 children. Each family has its own unique story, but they all share a need for a bit of extra support this time of year.

This year, your help is more essential than ever. Due to inflation and economic strains, many of these families are dealing with job losses, food shortages, health issues, and other unimaginable hardships. Here’s how you can make a difference:

Option 1: Sponsor a Family
With a $250 donation (or sponsor more than one family!), our team will handle the shopping, packing, and delivering of gifts and groceries for you.

Option 2: Volunteer to Pack and Deliver
Help us pack and deliver gifts to families on December 13th and 14th. Sign up by emailing info@PFAPATL.com.

This year’s goal is to raise $25,000 to sponsor 100 families. Every contribution brings us closer to providing a brighter holiday for families who give so much to our community.
