For more than a decade, Giants of the Earth Heritage Center has worked to preserve the stories of farm families on Norwegian Ridge. Beginning with interviews and filming in 2014, the Dear Land project has grown into a broadcast-quality documentary that honors the challenges, joys, and traditions of living from the land.

Supported by the Minnesota Historical Society and many local families, this multi-stage effort not only preserves history on film but also invites the community to reflect on its meaning for future generations.

Stage 4, with details and timeline pending, will continue the journey with screenings of "extended cut" unused footage at Giants, where family and friends will gather, share memories, and help create new public stories for release online. Additional support for this project will help this next stage come together.
