A Place-2-Live, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families in Solano County and beyond. We provide permanent housing placement services, helping families and individuals overcome financial barriers and secure long-term housing. Through life skills training and financial literacy education, we empower our clients to achieve self-sufficiency and maintain stable housing.

OUR STORY

Founded in 2003, A Place-2-Live, Inc. began with a heartfelt commitment to helping vulnerable populations in our community. Initially started as a for-profit organization, we transformed into a nonprofit to better meet the needs of those we serve. Our journey has been shaped by both our experiences and a strong passion for making a difference.

When we launched in 2003, the rental market presented a unique opportunity. With low rents and high vacancy rates, landlords were open to working with us to find reliable tenants and guarantee rent payments. This partnership not only ensured a steady income for landlords but also helped us provide stable housing for individuals and families facing significant challenges.

OUR IMPACT

Since 2014, A Place-2-Live, Inc. (AP2L) has housed 718 families, including survivors of Hurricane Katrina, California wildfires, and many seniors in need. Our three-phase program—screening, workshops, and program review—has helped clients achieve lasting housing stability. Through partnerships with landlords, community organizations, and government agencies, we provide secure housing, job training, and financial literacy, transforming lives and strengthening communities. Since 2003, AP2L has been a trusted bridge to stability, ensuring families have the resources to thrive.
