Rē is a transformative nonprofit that works through education, research and civic engagement activities to foster regenerative processes which add to the abundance and resilience of ecological, social, and economic communities.

Newly based in Amesbury, MA, the Regenerative School is raising money to realize our “roots” in the Northeast and continue funding all the great work we have been seeding.

In reflecting on our accomplishments from the past year, we proudly raised $4,000 out of the $15,000 required to organize and found our Amesbury community garden, planted in memory of G. Scott Laing, Ashlei Laing’s late father. In the past, Rē’s gardens and partner farm in Tennessee gave back to the community in bounties with over 500 pounds of fresh food donated to local food pantries in 2022 alone.

Rē strives to expand its reach here with our newfound community and surrounding Northeast region. G. Scott Laing was a cherished figure in both the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Seacoast communities, renowned for his abundant vegetable gardens. At Rē, our aspiration is to create a garden akin to his, providing our community with free, fresh, and chemical-free produce, and serve as a meaningful meeting place for future cross-cultural conversations and innovative learning.

While transitioning to New England, in the absence of a local eco-campus to host our organization, programs, and cooperative efforts, Rē has diligently fostered collaborations with like-minded local organizations to uplift empowering causes and spaces. For example, Rē hosted a sold-out local retreat this May at Alnoba with Within Wellness and Nourishing Wellness. We returned to Alnoba’s sustainably-constructed meeting space in October with Sequoia Samanvaya, Nourishing Wellness and Collective Wisdoms to uplift our community through the turbulent news cycle and promote balance in the Fall season.

As we approach the end of this year, we are invigorated by the prospect of nurturing seeds of change, growing our local community, and planting our dreams in the Northeast. So far, we have 100% board participcation in this annual appeal! Will you join them this giving season on Giving Tuesday?

There are two ways to donate:

1. A one-time tax-deductible donation for 2023 or

2. A recurring monthly donation, tax-deductible in 2024.
