Of course you do. There are PLENTY of resources available on our planet to sustain the well being of every hue man alive and for the next 10,000+ years. And we hold the power now and in the future. Over here at Sweet Annie, we're on it ... because buildings count for a significant percentage of environmental impact, including housing, sewage and garbage as well as the growing typhoid problem with the rising home/ house-less population. We're grossed out about it all. Some love to see others fail and don't care. Others ... yes we're concerned. Okay, so let's dig deep and stop being grossed out or sick and tired of observing our fellow hue man beings suffer needlessly, shall we? Sure thing.

As for us and ours, we're in Earthship Academy Biotecture training, and we have focused our first Earthship field study construction on a permaculture farm/ recreation center/ library in Malawi, West Africa. Thereafter, we take our talents to the East and West of Alkebulun. Then, we shall return to our local "3rd world" communities in America to improve the living conditions here in prayer that we're equipped to slice through thick red tape with the nurturing, diplomacy and other values money can't buy.

What are Earthships?

Let's be clear: EARTHSHIPS are beauty full, autonomous homes - even sold by Berkshire Hathaway - that are designed and constructed SPECIFICALLY to meet the six [6] basic needs of all hue man beings: CLEAN water, food, energy/ electricity, sewage, garbage system, and, of course, shelter. Earthship interior/ exterior walls are designed with cob/ adobe/ "hempcrete" completed with 100% re-purposed and re-usable materials like glass and re-claimed wood.

Biotecture construction prevents certain waste such as tire landfills trashing the Earth. Consequently, used tires, beverage cans, wine bottles of many colors, fresh hay, clay cob, reclaimed wood/ glass, sand, rechargeable batteries, made-by-hand solar panels and additional earth-based materials are reconditioned and applied to every Earthship. Rain water is stored and filtered for several use until it becomes "grey" water to replenish your interior food forest. Via thermo-mass, all Earthship room temperatures remain at 70 degrees year-round despite the local climate. Earthships are 100% self-sustaining, massively affordable, and they last up to 200+ years.

Earthship construction happens usually within 1.2 years from planning and design to construction. This particular field study includes three [3] phases prior to completion of our first Earthship:

Get and "fix up" our old cargo van for Earthship materials transport/ delivery.
Apply learned biotecture principles to our field studies.
Source all sustainable, repurposed and reusable materials.
Plan, draft, illustrate and design our first earthship in Malawi.
Contruct and build Earthships perpetually, and teach the next generation.
