The Hindu Temple of Fresno was founded in 1990 as a spiritual center for the Hindu community in the Central Valley, California. The temple serves as a gathering place where families and friends come together to participate in collective prayers, enjoy cultural events, and foster a sense of community and belonging. Over the years, the Fresno Hindu Temple has played an important role in promoting its members’ spiritual growth and well-being.

The various poojas and rituals are both educational and enlightening, as our priests take the time to explain the purpose behind each ritual in easy-to-understand terms. The Temple strives to help children and adults better understand the Hindu religion and its origins.
