We’re celebrating 70 years of community impact—and you’re invited to be part of it!

Join us for our Spring Open House and experience how your support strengthens behavioral health services throughout our three-month Spring Campaign (April 1–June 30). We’re raising $70,000 for 70 years to fund growth, innovation, and healing at Ecker Center for Behavioral Health.

Celebrate 70 years of impact with us at this free, family-friendly event! Join staff, clients, supporters, and community members for a behind-the-scenes look at our work and the meaningful difference your support makes.

What to Expect:

Guided tours and personal meet-and-greets with Ecker staff and clients
Interactive program stations featuring wish lists, Q&A, and ways to support space improvements
Client-created artwork on display — get a sneak peek of our upcoming Art Show on June 12 at Elgin Community College (ECC)
Community mural preview — view the concept and discover how to be a part of the project
Food trucks and refreshments
Raffle prizes and giveaways
Hands-on opportunities to support and enhance our healing spaces

🛠️ Environmental Enhancements at Ecker

As part of our anniversary campaign, we’re transforming our spaces—inside and out—to reflect the care, dignity, and healing we offer every day. Your support helps bring these improvements to life.

🌿 Exterior Enhancements

Creating a more welcoming and community-centered environment through:

A Community Mural on our south-facing wall
Garden maintenance, entrance planters, and outdoor landscaping
Painting fences and shutters for a refreshed appearance

🛋️ Interior Enhancements

Improving functionality, comfort, and inclusivity across client and staff spaces. Each department’s Open House station will highlight areas where supporters can contribute through:

A Mosaic Donor Recognition Wall — a permanent art installation inside our main office, recognizing generous contributors
Wellness Center upgrades to enhance client care and group experiences
Furnishings and calming décor
Program-specific enhancements tailored to client needs

📌 Note for event day: Each department’s info station will showcase ways you can get involved—whether through a needed item, a design improvement, or a volunteer project. Every contribution helps us create a space that truly reflects the care we provide.
