“If you build it, they will come…” Ok, but now what?!

It’s hard to believe that Eclectic Box is coming up on our third year! When we took the mantle from StageWerx, our main goal was stopping yet another venue in our multi-colored city from shuttering. With the support of our community, our neighborhood, and an absolute legion of talented performers, we were able to do more that. We’ve been able to grow and expand in a way that the 2023-version of ourselves could only hope for. Thanks to everyone who donated time and money, thanks to anyone who bought a ticket, thanks to the artists and dreamers in San Francisco for helping us see the vision we believed was out there.

Now that Eclectic Box is on stable footing, we’ve had a chance to take a breath and evaluate some needs and wants to take this vision to the next level. We’re turning to the community that helped us Build The Box and asking if they’re ready to help us Level Up The Box. Demand for our space continues to grow and we’ve got to grow with it! Donations would go towards repairs, upgrades, and a few brand new additions to bring an extra burst of pizazz to the performances we’re lucky enough to host.

Cleaning/Replacing carpeting throughout the building
Upgrades to Dressing (Green) Room
Installing Acoustic Wall Panels on Stage walls
New lighting and sound equipment
Refinish all hardwood flooring in the 2nd Floor Studio
Transforming a currently underutilized space on the 2nd floor into an additional rehearsal room
Repainting walls/ceilings
Installing new lighting fixtures throughout the building
Needed Repairs throughout the building
