When Eddy was found as a stray in one of this past winter storms, he was in awful shape. We didn't know if he would make it to get to the vet appointment.
He was severely emaciated, suffering from painful skin and lesion infections, and both of his eyes were badly infected. It was clear that Eddy had been suffering for far too long and was covered in snow.
But despite everything he had been through, Eddy finally had someone fighting for him. His finders became his foster and nursed him along the way.
His road to recovery is still happening and hasn't been easy. Eddy has needed multiple veterinary visits to treat his severe skin infections, medications, ongoing medical care, and an eye surgery to repair the damage to his eyes.
