You all DID IT! Together we raised the $150,000 we thought we needed to close on the property. Well, yesterday the bank threw us a curveball!!! Instead of 20% down they are requiring 40%. With your help, we are certain we can get there!

Eden Village of Louisville is planned gated community of 35 tiny homes for single chronically unhoused adults.

A contract has been placed on 7.5 acres at 35^th & Bank in the Portland neighborhood in West Louisville. This property is on a bus line, has sidewalks and bumps up to a Kroger. In addition to the 35 tiny homes, Eden Village of Louisville will include a community center, pavilion, green space, community garden and park. The community center will be the hub of the village and provide space for wraparound services such as mental and physical health, workforce development, social services and community engagement. Neighbors will also be able to access the community center and services.

Potential residents may submit an application for housing after verification of that federal guidelines of homelessness are met. Preselected criteria will be used to determine approval. Residents will pay $350 monthly in rent which will include all utilities.

Help us make this village of reality by securing the down payment on the property and move towards making Louisville a city where no one sleeps outside!
