When seven-month-old Dayana arrived at a hospital in Tanzania, she was dangerously weak and struggling for every breath. Thanks to trained staff using Essential Emergency and Critical Care (EECC), she received oxygen, antibiotics, and careful monitoring — and made a full recovery.

Thousands of patients like Dayana arrive at hospitals every week — but many don’t make it. Together, we can change that.

We’re working to make this care available to 11,000 critically ill patients across 80 health facilities in Tanzania. For six months, EECC Global will support hospitals to provide the basics that save lives: trained staff, simple protocols, strong leadership, essential tools, and vital supplies.
