Austin Mutual Aid — Winter Response Fund

Every winter, our unhoused neighbors face dangerous cold. AMA activates a community-powered response rooted in solidarity, not charity. Our members cook, show up, redistribute resources, and support hundreds of neighbors across Austin. Remaining funds will be used to ensure we have a fund to begin prepping supplies for these storms before they are truly needed!

What We Made Possible Together

4,300+ meals shared
150 jackets, 200+ blankets, tents, sleeping bags, and winter gear
Harm-reduction supplies including Narcan
Repeated camp check-ins and rapid response through our member community network
840+ member hours delivering survival gear and support
Long term partnerships with Community Resilience Trust, Good Works Austin, Austin Street Medics, St. Mark’s, Waling by Faith Prison Ministry and more
