SunshineAndShade exists to support families who are courageously saying YES to God’s plan through adoption.

Adopting an infant in the United States through an agency costs an average of $70,000. These expenses include birth mother support (housing, food, transportation, medical care), legal fees, agency fees, and travel costs. When a family is matched, the majority of funds must be available immediately in order to move forward.

Our mission is to help fill the gap — so adoption is never stalled or denied because of money.

We believe the Church is called to care for children and families in tangible ways. Through simple, joyful events like Egg My Yard, we come together as a community to support families stepping into obedience and faith.

We understand that families could decorate their own yards for far less than the cost of this event. The heart behind this fundraiser is not simply the eggs — it is the impact. Your participation directly supports adoption grants and helps remove financial barriers for families ready to say yes.

Our goal this year is to provide direct financial support to 12 adopting families. Anything raised beyond that goal allows us to expand our reach and serve even more families who are waiting for their miracle.

If you feel led and are able, additional donations are always welcomed and go directly toward helping families bring their children home.

SunshineAndShade also serves our local community through back-to-school supply drives, sponsoring families at Christmas, and meeting immediate financial needs when crisis arises.

This event is one small way we can be the hands and feet of Jesus — bringing hope, provision, and practical support to families walking in faith.

What You Will Receive

On April 4, 2026 between 8:00PM–11:00 PM, our volunteers will decorate your FRONT YARD with a surprise Easter egg hunt for your family to wake up to on Easter morning.

Your selected package will include:

• Colorful Easter eggs thoughtfully placed throughout your yard
• A variety of fun Easter-themed items inside the eggs — we strive to include more than just candy whenever possible
• A joyful surprise experience designed to create memories for your children

To ensure everything runs smoothly, please:

• Make sure your yard is accessible and free of obstacles
• Secure all pets inside during the delivery window
• Leave exterior lights on so our volunteers can safely place eggs
