Ready, Set, Create! Start a DIY fundraiser for Cactus Cancer Society and choose your own adventure, all in the name of ending isolation amongst young adults facing cancer!

Cactus Cancer Society invites patients, survivors, and supporters to challenge themselves to a ‘creative marathon’ where you can choose your adventure. Perhaps you finish a creative project in 26 hours, commit to a practice for 26 days straight, create 26 finished products, or try 26 different crafts.

You might doodle, dance, write, play, paint, meditate, sew, or build…whatever your creative challenge looks like, you’ll rally your network’s support as you flex your creative muscles. For a community as vibrant as ours, there is no goal too lofty or canvas too big.

Participating in your very own Create-A-Thon strengthens our young adult cancer community by raising awareness and crucial funds for Cactus Cancer Society’s creative coping programs. All participants who raise $250+ receive a handmade emotional support cactus, and all participants who raise $500+ receive a signature Create-A-Thon t-shirt!

Starting your Create-A-Thon is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

Set up your fundraiser. Rise to a creative challenge of your choosing and build your Create-A-Thon fundraising page. See our fundraising toolkit to help spark your creative ideas!
Spread the word. Personalization fuels your fundraising power. Tell your network why you choose to support Cactus Cancer Society through your Create-A-Thon and ask for donations to be made in your honor.
Make an Impact. Funds raised via your Create-A-Thon will make creative coping programs available to support young adults facing cancer. We’ll report back to you – and everyone who supported you, to share the difference you’ve made.
