Join the Minnesota Justice Research Center for an evening of reflection, expression, and community as we process the 2026 election results together. Elections deeply impact our communities, and whether you feel energized, exhausted, anxious, or hopeful, your feelings belong here. Come together with neighbors and community members to share space, make art, enjoy good food, and ground ourselves for the work ahead.

Paint with us: We will have paint, canvases, and props available. Use your creativity to paint, express, and visualize how you are feeling about the 2026 election results. No artistic experience required—just bring your authentic self!

Join us for a meal: Enjoy a meal from a local food truck and socialize with your neighbors and fellow changemakers

Short Presentation & Facilitated Discussion: We'll begin with a brief grounding, then break down the election results, followed by a facilitated community circle to share reflections, ask questions, and talk about what comes next for our community.

Digesting political shifts can feel isolating. This gathering offers a safe, creative, and supportive container to vent, heal, strategize, and build solidarity with one another.

All are welcome. Come as you are.

The event is free, but donations are always welcome.
