Every year embraceWNY hosts a Buffalo Brunch with a basket raffle, silent auction, and speeches from members in our WNY LGBTQIA+ community who are doing the work on the frontlines. We distribute all funds raised right back into the community through scholarships and grants. Our footprint of giving consists of the following counties: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Niagara, and Orleans.

This year, our theme is Stronger Together: Celebrating Unity and Resilience. We are looking to the past in hopes to honor all the examples of coming together to strengthen the LGBTQIA+ community. From stonewall to the modern gay liberation movement, and so many in-between. Together we gather to socialize, remind ourselves of the fight our community has, and recognize those that carry that spirit throughout the Western New York region. Please join us May 4th, 2025 to prove we are a strong community, but we are stronger together.
