The Situation:

On the morning of June 8th, a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Mindanao, Philippines, triggering landslides and widespread infrastructure collapse. With over 180 aftershocks recorded and severe damage concentrated in General Santos and Sarangani province, entire communities have been cut off from power, clean water, and communications.

The large international NGOs are mobilizing, but they are bottlenecked at the main airports and distribution hubs.

Our Mission:

Sail Relief Team (SRT) is deploying immediately. We cut our teeth running complex maritime relief operations after hurricanes in the Caribbean, but our core mission everywhere is exactly the same: last-mile distribution.

We are a nimble, rapid-response disaster relief team. Our mission isn't to bring in 50 shipping containers of bulk freight; we focus entirely on the logistical gaps. By deploying experienced field operators who know how to navigate unstable environments, we bypass collapsed roads and severed bridges to bring high-value, off-grid technology and survival gear directly into the hardest-hit, isolated communities that the massive NGOs can't easily reach.

We are raising a rapid-strike fund of $10,000 to immediately cover the hard operational costs of our ground deployment to Mindanao.
