As you’ve seen all over the media recently, Haiti is in a state of emergency!

The chaos has forced tens of thousands to flee their homes, adding to the more than 314,000 already displaced by the violence. Fearful residents took refuge in capracare’s catchment area, Southern Haiti. We cannot stand by as our Haitian brothers and sisters suffer every day.

Our Emergency Relief calls for urgent support from our donors and friends to help us in delivering essential food, medical and sanitary supplies to the communities affected by the current social and political crisis in Haiti. Many families, women and children are scrambling for food and supplies- particular those who are elderly, infants and pregnant women. In addition to food distribution, our relief efforts will also support mental health and trauma counseling to ensure holistic support for the community. ALL food and supplies are being purchased locally in Haiti and delivered by our capracare outreach workers and responders on the grounds.
