The Birth Support Access Fund exists to change that.

Across our communities, families are seeking personalized, compassionate birth care — care that honors their bodies, their choices, and their cultural traditions. Midwives and birth professionals play a critical role in improving maternal and infant outcomes, reducing unnecessary interventions, and supporting families during one of the most important moments of their lives.

However, access to this care is often out of reach.

Through this fund, New City Family Services helps bridge the gap by supporting families who need financial assistance to access birth and maternal health services through trusted, community-based providers.

How This Fund Helps

Donations to the Birth Support Access Fund are used to:

Offset the cost of midwifery and birth support services for eligible families
Support access to prenatal, birth, and postpartum care
Reduce financial barriers that prevent families from choosing the care that best fits their needs

We work with mission-aligned birth professionals and organizations who share our commitment to safe, respectful, and family-centered care.
Current participating providers include Mariyam Midwifery, along with other community birth support partners.
