The Catholic Academy of Sussex County Featured on Empowered Hosted by Meg Ryan

What makes a college preparatory education truly exceptional? At the Catholic Academy of Sussex County, it is an education that challenges students academically, grounds them in faith, and prepares them for a lifetime of purpose and possibility.

Featured on Empowered Hosted by Meg Ryan, a nationally distributed educational television and documentary series, the Academy shares its commitment to college preparatory education that develops the whole person — body, mind, and soul.

Through rigorous academics, innovative technology, character development, and a community rooted in Catholic faith, the Academy prepares students not only for college, but for the opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities that await them.

Because the true measure of an education is not simply what students achieve, but who they become along the way.

More Than an Education. An Experience That Lasts.

In a world that moves fast and often feels disconnected, families are searching for more than academic preparation. They are looking for purpose, direction, meaningful relationships, and a foundation that lasts.

At the Catholic Academy of Sussex County, that foundation is built through experiences that shape students intellectually, spiritually, and personally. From learning to think critically and use technology responsibly to growing in faith, discovering individual talents, and building lifelong friendships, students are challenged to become the best versions of themselves.

Catholic education is about preparing students for the future while helping them understand the values that will guide them through it.

"We prepare our students for the future. We prepare them for the social changes that happen. We prepare them for the technological advances that happen. We prepare them to be ready for anything.” — Dan O’Keefe, Catholic Academy of Sussex County President
