Teagan Lobdell's Story
I have already been in their Futures program since last summer and it has helped me with my communication, self-advocacy, and planning for my future.
EmpowHer Camp is the next step. It's a week in the Adirondack Mountains where I will learn survival skills, build independence, and meet other girls with disabilities. It also has a year-long community service project where I will grow my leadership skills, and next year I will be able to present my project in Washington, D.C.
