Please join Equality NC, NC AIDS Action Network (NCAAN), National Minority Aids Council (NMAC), AIDS United AIDSWatch@Home, Latino Commision on AIDS, and Equality Federation on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 for Advocacy Day! We will gather from 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM to unite around LGBTQIA+ healthcare and the fight to expand access to HIV prevention and treatment across North Carolina.

We'll kick off the day at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences (Downtown Raleigh), where our staff will equip you with grassroots advocacy training and an overview of current state policies so you can feel confident and prepared to make your voice heard.

In the afternoon, we'll head together to the Legislative Office Building for one-on-one meetings with NC legislators.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided during the day.

Participation is open to everyone, regardless of experience. No prior advocacy background is needed, just a willingness to show up and speak up. If you need travel assistance to get to Raleigh, please indicate that on your registration form.

Sign up by April 15th to ensure you have the opportunity to meet with your legislators. Meetings are scheduled in advance, so early registration helps us secure your spot. We'll follow up directly with a detailed schedule for the day.
