Friends of El Paso Animal Services strives to increase access to spay/neuter services in our community, but we need your help! Your donation will help us fund roughly 350 FREE spay/neuter surgeries, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations for City of El Paso residents this spring. Together, we can impact the overpopulation crisis!

In 2025, we hosted our first-ever Spay-a-Thon in partnership with El Paso Animal Services, sponsoring a team of relief veterinary teams to come down to El Paso and spay or neuter community pets. During the three-day event, over 430 pets were spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and we want to do it again this year.

Pet overpopulation is a very real concern in the borderland region, with unwanted or unexpected litters contributing to the over 27,000 pets entering our shelters every year. Spaying and neutering directly impacts the overpopulation in our community, and saves the lives of thousands of homeless pets every year.
