🏃‍♂️ Equip Titanes with Electronic Timing

Titanes is a group of young track athletes from Oaxaca who train with serious discipline. They share lanes. They share spikes. Most of the timing is still done with phones or old stopwatches.

That is enough to start. It is not enough to reach the next level.

This campaign will fund a Freelap Timing Pack 212, a professional electronic timing system used by high-performance programs around the world. With your help, every practice can move from rough estimates to real data.

If we raise more than needed for the Freelap pack, extra funds will be used to buy additional training gear for Titanes, such as:

Bars and weight plates
Basic strength and power tools for their regular sessions

This improves both their speed work and their overall physical preparation.

What the Freelap System Does

The Freelap system uses wireless transmitters and small chips that athletes wear during training. As they pass each point, the system records their times automatically.

This allows coaches and athletes to:

Measure times with professional-level accuracy
Record splits for 30 m, 60 m, 80 m, 100 m, 150 m, 200 m and more
Test acceleration, flying 10s, changes of pace, and controlled repetitions
Track progress across weeks and months with clear, objective numbers

Right now, many repetitions are hand-timed. A small delay when pressing the button can change the result by tenths of a second. At sprint and middle-distance level, that difference is huge.

Titanes Sport Clinic is more than a training center. It is a team focused on human performance and the full development of each athlete.

This campaign is organized by Oax Sport Inc., a Texas-incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports athletes from Oaxaca with the resources they need to succeed in sports. We focus on athletes who have talent and discipline but limited access to funding, equipment, or professional support.

Ongoing mentorship and guidance
