Madisonville Community College will award the first Eric Jacobs Memorial Scholarship during the 2024-2025 academic year. This scholarship was started by Eric's wife, Hannah, to honor his memory.

In honor of Eric's legacy, potential scholarship applicants will be asked to submit a paragraph on why they chose their trade or what inspired them to go to college.

The award can be used for tuition, books, and program costs for students enrolled in the AIT program, with preference given to students pursuing certification in Industrial Maintenance. The Eric Jacobs Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to one MCC AIT student.

Gifts may also be made on the college's Advancement website - Give to MCC - KCTCS Connect (Select MCC Other - Fund Not Listed from the list) or by mailing a check to Madisonville Community College, c/o MCC Advancement Office, 2000 College Drive, Madisonville, KY 42431
