While patrolling the coastline in search of clues to an underwater mystery, Sheriff Leikauf dove in to investigate a series of shimmering lights reported just offshore. He thought he was chasing a sunken treasure case, but what he found was far more enchanting.

Lured by the haunting melody of a mermaid guarding her glowing chest of gold, Sheriff Leikauf swam too close, and before he knew it, he was caught in her spell! Now trapped beneath the sea in full snorkel gear, he’s stuck in a flipper-fueled limbo, torn between his duty to the community and the call of the coral.
