ADH Financial Empowerment Initiative is a Detroit-based nonprofit organization committed to advancing economic stability and long-term wealth in underserved communities. Founded by an Enrolled Agent and former IRS Revenue Officer, the organization was created to address the financial barriers that prevent individuals and families from achieving sustainable financial success.

We provide practical, real-world financial education combined with direct support services that meet people where they are. Our programs include financial literacy training, free and low-cost tax preparation and tax compliance assistance, workforce readiness support, and essential document and licensing services that help individuals increase income, secure employment, and access critical opportunities.

ADH Financial Empowerment Initiative focuses on populations that are often excluded from traditional financial systems, including low-income households, teen parents, young adults, and individuals facing administrative or financial obstacles to employment and stability. Our approach is hands-on and solution-driven, designed to remove immediate barriers while building long-term financial capability.
