Every patient deserves the safest care possible while they're under anesthesia.

One of the most important tools our veterinary team uses during surgery is a pulse oximeter. This small device continuously monitors a patient's heart rate and oxygen levels while they are under anesthesia, giving our medical staff real-time information throughout the procedure.

Our current pulse oximeters have served us well over the years, but they are showing their age. Replacement parts are becoming difficult to find, and it's time to replace them with reliable, up-to-date equipment that our team can depend on.

We're raising $1,140 to purchase four new pulse oximeters: one for each anesthesia station in our surgery suite.

Every year, our clinic performs more than 4,400 affordable spay and neuter surgeries for cats in our community. These monitors help our veterinary team provide safe anesthesia and quickly recognize any changes that require immediate attention.

While pulse oximeters may not be equipment most people ever see, they play a vital role in every surgery we perform.
