Since 2010, Hoops Creating Hope has worked to create opportunities for underserved young people in India through playing basketball, allowing them a space to learn critical thinking skills, have educational support, mentorship, and an emphasis on gender equality to create their journey towards generational change.

For a young person, a basketball court can be more than a place to play. It can be a place to belong, develop confidence, discover new possibilities, and build relationships with adults who believe in their potential.

But the opportunity does not end when the game does.

Through our programs, we work to connect the lessons learned on the court with the guidance, teacher and coaches training, educational support, and overall successful life skills young people need to pursue their ambitions.

This year, we are working to raise $40,000 by December 31 to help sustain that opportunity.

MEET REPRIYA

Repriya joined Hoops Creating Hope thirteen years ago as a shy, eyes-wide-open kid who was amazed at the energy and life around basketball. She soaked in the energy and continued to show up year after year, and we continued to learn more of her story. She is the daughter of a single mom from the slums. Her mom has worked as a domestic house servant and earns $950 for an ENTIRE YEAR!

Now - she's a university graduate and navigating working her way in the job force.

This is what's possible when belief meets opportunity.

WHAT YOUR GENEROSITY MAKES POSSIBLE

Your support helps Hoops Creating Hope bring together the elements that matter: basketball, education, mentorship and a community invested in young people's futures.

Every contribution brings us closer to our goal. Every supporter becomes part of a community that believes a young person's circumstances should not determine the limits of their future.

THE IMPACT IS BIGGER THAN THE GAME

Education creates possibilities. We work to help students stay engaged in school and pursue opportunities beyond it.

Mentorship builds confidence. Coaches and mentors help young people develop discipline, teamwork, leadership and belief in themselves.

Community creates belonging. Safe spaces to learn, play and grow help young people see what is possible for themselves and one another.

Hoops Creating Hope began with a belief that basketball could open doors. That belief continues to guide our work.

As the year comes to a close, we invite you to help create more opportunities for young people to learn, grow and imagine a future beyond what they may have thought possible.

Our goal is $40,000 by December 31. Help us get there.

Make a gift. Share this campaign. Invite someone else to join you.

Every shot opens a future. Thank you for helping make it possible.
