Tech Literacy & The E-Waste Gang is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to spreading tech literacy and reducing e-waste through computer workshops. For the past 5 years we have provided individuals with the skills to maintain their electronics, cultivating personal and community growth.

Our workshops have significantly impacted the community, helping dozens gain computer literacy, leading to job opportunities and reduced e-waste. We have collaborated with local nonprofits on tech literacy projects, including summer classes at Shiloh Baptist Church. Workshops at Montgomery County-Norristown Library. Tech literacy classes with the Literacy Council of Norristown (LCN), where we also refurbished and donated over 20 PCs to students.

We are excited to announce a new series of workshops focused on computer repair, aligning with our mission to provide technical skills and promote sustainability. We seek $15,150 in donations to cover essential tools, equipment, materials, and training assistance. We aim to give away 50 refurbished PCs that were recently donated to us. Each PC will be equipped with the necessary peripherals and repair tools to provide immediate technology access and essential computer repair skills.
