Jog-a-Thon FAQ

The Jog-a-thon puts the FUN in FUNdraiser! Our goal is to raise at least $15,000, and ANY donation is welcome! If every child raises $85, we can reach our goal and more! All the money raised will go directly to support programs enriching our students’ experiences.

What is a Jog-a-thon? The Jog-a-thon is a fundraiser in which families, friends, and neighbors pledge money to support the students as they participate in the Jog-a-thon. Each lap is tallied as students jog (or walk, skip, run, etc.), and prizes are awarded to students and classes with the most laps.

How do we raise money? In the next few weeks, each student can obtain pledges in support of his/her Jog-a-thon efforts. Pledges will be made as a one-time donation and not Please help your child collect pledges through your child’s class webpage. You can share the class link with family, relatives, friends, co-workers, etc. No time to ask for pledges? You can make a donation instead! We are shooting for 100% participation, so no amount is too small!

Pledges and donations

Pledges are made for a lump sum and are not made per lap.
If you have more than one child participating in the jog-a-thon, please make separate pledges/donations for each child in the family.

Incentives

A popsicle for every child who participates.
A $10 gift certificate for the child (boy & girl) who runs the most laps in each grade.
A $25 gift certificate for the child (boy & girl) in each of the two groups who runs the most laps.
A $25 gift certificate for the child in each of the two groups who raises the most funds.
A pizza party for the class in each of the two groups with the highest average number of laps completed.
The top three fundraising classes get an ice cream party for the whole class!
