For too long, those most impacted and least responsible have been ignored and silenced. Brave Indigenous women trying to stop fossil fuel extraction, mining projects, and colonizing land and water takings are threatened and rates of violence are increasing.

One way we can protect them and put needed pressure on polluters and decision makers is to share their truth of what is happening.

Seeding Sovereignty is already in Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Mexico. In 2026, we are growing and scaling our independent media team of Indigenous women drone pilots on the ground in remote areas to protect our planet by documenting real time threats, evidence of harms, and the biodiverse beauty of vast territories at risk.

Eyes in the Sky does this through the following activities:

Distributing drones
Resourcing internet access
Leading media trainings
Paying $tipends to frontline women leaders
Amplifying the voices of brave frontline Indigenous women

This is sovereignty in action: not distant, not theoretical, but practiced, shared, and growing.
