About the Summit

Mission West Community Development Partners is a non-profit rural development organization serving communities throughout Montana and across the Northwest Region. In 2022, we launched the Northwest Food Hub Network in partnership with Puget Sound Food Hub Cooperative, LINC Foods, and Western Montana Growers Cooperative to put more fresh, healthy food on cafeteria trays and grocery store shelves while reinvesting in capacities to scale local food sourcing.

We host the Northwest Food Hub Network Summit each year to share learnings and invite new partners to collaborate with us to realize our vision for a vibrant food system. The 2026 Summit will bring together food hubs, producers, customers, and supporters for on-site learning as well as a social hour, breakout sessions, and panels featuring fresh perspectives from the front lines of local food systems development.

Who's Invited to the Summit?

The Summit is for anyone who believes that our food system works better when we work together. What began as a humble meeting of a handful of food hub organizers in 2022 has gained momentum – the upcoming fifth annual edition will welcome audience members who bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the table.
