Altstead Collective isn’t just a dream — it’s a blueprint for living differently.

We’re building an alternative living community with deep roots: part campground, part homestead, part second-chance work-camp. Tourists, long-term residents, and folks rebuilding after hard times will all share the same land — growing food, flipping campers, and building lives that work on their own terms.

This campaign helps us make one part of that vision official.

We’re raising funds to cover the legal and setup costs of becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. That nonprofit arm will focus on offering transitional housing and structured work opportunities for individuals who’ve completed recovery, graduated from shelters, or just need one real shot to get back on their feet.

This isn’t charity. It’s a hand-up model where residents contribute — helping in the garden, canning food, repairing units, and learning real skills in the process. Some may eventually buy their unit or join the team. We’re not just flipping campers. We’re flipping lives.

- Filing fees and costs for 501(c)(3) status
- Startup tools, supplies, and infrastructure for the nonprofit housing side
- Renovation materials for the first camper
- Documentation fees for residents needing ID, birth certificates, etc.
