On June 24 - 27, 2025, 40 student-athletes and coaches from Beat the Streets Baltimore are headed to the Beat the Streets National Duals and Camp at the University of Pennsylvania. It’s one of the biggest opportunities our young people will have this year—and for many of them, it’s the first time they’ll compete outside of Baltimore, step foot on a college campus, or be surrounded by hundreds of youth from across the country chasing the same dream.

This is a transformational experience for our young people who have trained through hardship, shown up with resilience, and earned the chance to represent their city on a national stage.

What the Trip Includes

Each student is raising money to cover:

Roundtrip transportation
3 nights at a hotel in downtown Philadelphia
Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day)
Gear package: 2 shirts, a pair of running shoes, and a BTS backpack
College tours at Delaware State University, Drexel University, Morgan State University, Temple University, University of Pennsylvania,
A full schedule of dual meets, clinics, and workshops led by top-level coaches, professionals and athletes

Why We’re Asking for Support

Many youth in our program come from working-class families. These aren’t just wrestlers—they’re leaders in the making. They show up every week, train hard, stay focused in school, and represent their communities with pride.

We’re not asking for a handout—we’re asking you to invest in a moment that can shift what a young person believes is possible for their life.

If not, your donation to the general campaign will still go directly toward helping us cover the cost for the team. Every dollar makes a difference.
