Albatross Aviary is a unique avian rescue and sanctuary dedicated to providing permanent care for companion parrots and other exotic birds when rehoming options are scarce. Our refuge particularly focuses on exotic companion birds like parrots, including parakeets, cockatoos, macaws, and other Psittacine species. However, we warmly accept all types of companion or exotic birds and other captive avian species.

At Albatross Aviary, we rescue, rehabilitate, and provide loving homes to birds that have been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered due to the challenges of the pet trade. Each year, hundreds of birds need our help, and while we’ve done so much to improve their lives, we need your help to do even more.

This holiday season, we are launching our End-of-Year Capital Fundraising Campaign to raise $150,000. These funds will allow us to:

Expand and renovate our aviary facility to care for more birds in need
Upgrade medical equipment and quarantine areas to ensure the health of every bird that comes into our care
Provide specialized care, enrichment, and rehabilitation for birds with behavioral challenges due to neglect or trauma
Continue our public education programs to raise awareness about ethical avian care and the crisis of unwanted companion birds
