Thank you for your participation in the 2025 Telluride Mushroom Festival. We are pleased to have you vend with us in the Vendor Village! Providing Festival attendees with great education, products and services to enhance the overall experience - four days of lectures, forays, workshops, food and lots of fungi. It is important to ensure that Festival organizers and vendors are in agreement. This document outlines our expectations for you as a vendor and our commitments to you as the organizers.To fill out the form, please click on the blue highlighted areas of the contract to add initials, e-signatures and business details.

TMF 2025 VENDOR DETAILS

Please note: there is very important vending information listed below that is your responsibility to read all the way through.

VENDOR BOOTH RULES & REGULATIONS

Vendors will be assigned a location on either North Oak Street, Oak Street Park, or Elk’s Park along Colorado Ave. in downtown Telluride.
Each vendor will be provided a booth space for 10’x10' Tents and/or canopies.
Tents must be securely weighted down. Staking tents is strictly prohibited.
All tents, chairs, tables, and items for sale, etc. are the responsibility of the vendor.
All personnel must remain within the vendor’s space, informational fliers and brochures must be distributed within the vendor’s space. NO roving vendors are permitted.
Electricity/water/sewage/trash is NOT provided. Generators are not permitted.
Vendors are required to provide a complete list of all items to be sold and/or service/activities to be conducted at their booth. Vendors will not be permitted to sell items, provide services or conduct activities that are not pre-approved.
Raffles are prohibited during the event. The selling of flea market items is also prohibited.
Vendors are responsible for keeping their assigned area clean and free of trash and hazardous conditions. Trash and recycling receptacles will be placed strategically around the park and emptied periodically. Failure to do so may result in a fine and/or denial in future participation in the Telluride Mushroom Festival.
Vendors may choose to remove valuables from their vendor booth or to keep the items there overnight.
Vendors will be required (by Law) to keep full and accurate sales detail and pay all sales taxes to the Telluride Mushroom Festival Vendor Coordinator by 2 PM Sunday, August 18th. A copy of the sales detail must be submitted along with payment in cash/check.
NO food to be consumed will be allowed to be sold without letting TMF know to get approval from the Town Food Safety Manager.

SIGNAGE RULES & REQUIREMENTS

All onsite storage and signage must be kept within the vendor’s operating space.
No tent branding is allowed unless it's integrated into your tent walls. This means no banners or signs with branding are permitted.
You ARE allowed to have branding if it serves a functional purpose. Some examples of functional items are: displaying a price list, product uses, consumption instructions, or ingredients.
Please ask if you are unsure about something before bringing it to the festival.
Non-profit businesses are exempt from the above signage rules and may use branding as they wish. This is a directive from the Town of Telluride.

VENDOR VILLAGE SET-UP AND TAKE DOWN

Wednesday, August 14th 2pm-4pm
- Vendor Check-in and Load in (Please: no morning check-in allowed due to no staff on site and Mushroom ID tent being loaded in and assembled)
Thursday August 15th - Saturday August 17th
- 9am-5pm Sales allowed
Sunday - August 18th
- 9am-2pm Sales allowed
- 2pm Sales stop, Town taxes collected
- 2:30pm-4:30pm Breakdown and load out (Please: NO late load outs due to no staff on site after this time)

VENDOR AGREEMENT & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Telluride Mushroom Festival reserves the right to refuse or excuse a vendor from participating during the festival for any perceived inappropriate or unprofessional behavior or acts. NO REFUNDS will be given to the vendors for any reason related to the vendor’s inability to vend at the Telluride Mushroom Festival.
The Telluride Mushroom Festival is a rain or shine event. NO REFUNDS will be made in the event of weather or an act of god.
The Telluride Mushroom Festival assumes NO responsibility for any loss, theft, or destruction of the valuables left on the premises. during the Festival or after set up their booth the night before the event.
Vendors must remain set up and manage their booth through the entire event which concludes at 2 PM Sunday, August 18th.
Vendors are strictly prohibited from using the Telluride Mushroom Festival name and logo.
The consumption and selling of alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the parks. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in the removal of the vendor from the Festival area with NO REFUND.

CO-OPERATIONS AGREEMENT

We have decided to enact a Code of Conduct for all TMF sponsors and vendors. The purpose of this partnership is to promote mutual humanness, kindness, empathy, and compassion, in line with the festival's grassroots spirit. We will be vetting all sponsors and vendors in a more thorough process this year. This process will consist of reaching out to industry friends to make sure people who are a part of our TMF community are acting with integrity as they do business outside of Telluride Mushroom Festival. We want our TMF community to be a safe space for all. The best partners are the ones who help us create community not just at Telluride Mushroom Festival, but out and about in the world.

All interactions should be conducted with respect and integrity. Disrespectful behavior, including but not limited to, verbal abuse, harassment, or derogatory remarks, is strictly prohibited.
Partners are expected to maintain a reasonable level of professionalism in all festival-related activities.
Partners must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Partners must not engage in discrimination of any kind based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, disability, or any other protected status.
Partners are encouraged to adopt sustainable business practices.
Partners are expected to treat other festival partners, festival goers, locals, tourists and anyone they interact with while at Telluride Mushroom Festival with respect and integrity.

This code of conduct is applicable both before, during and after the festival.

BREACH OF CO-OPERATIONS AGREEMENT

Any breach of the Code of Conduct may result in immediate termination of the partnership, at the discretion of the TMF Operations Team. TMF reserves the right to take any necessary action, including legal action, in response to a breach of this Code.

TERMINATION

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements. Any amendments to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. TMF operations team reserves the right to breach any partnership agreement without notice or refund should the code of conduct be broken.
