Happy April Fool's Day!

We're not playing jokes this year; until ruzzia is stopped and Ukraine safe, we need to keep plugging along. Over the past few weeks, the outpouring of support for our projects have been wonderful. I hope you like the new campaign updates.

We have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow, so let's focus on what we can affect, namely helping the less-famous Ukrainian units that contact UFL for help.

This week:

This is a vehicle of the Trostyanets Territorial Defense, based in the Sumy region of Ukraine. As you can see, they ran into a little problem, namely an orc drone. The most impressive thing about this is that they are not asking for a new vehicle; they need help repair it, Mad Max style! One of the many things that I have learned about Ukrainians over the last few years is that they are pragmatic, resourceful, and determined.

The repairs are currently estimated to cost ~$2500. If we can get to $3000, we can get them a new set of tires. I'm hoping, however, that we can exceed even that and purchase for them an EW system for their truck so this doesn't happen again!

$2 Tuesday ticket

The blue socks and patches are sold by Antarctic staff to raise money for their members who are currently fighting in Ukraine. Friends of UFL bought them and gave them to us, so we are sharing them with you.

As for the black and red socks, well, I think we all dream of such an event.

The large shell casing is from the 30mm cannon fired from a Ukrainian BMP, signed by the 249th.

The fin structure is unique, as well. It is the tail section of a Ukrainian mortar round, collected by Ukrainians after they took a ruzzian position, also by the 249th.

$5 Multi-pack

This week's multipack comes from the 249th Battalion of the 127th TDF Brigade that UFL helped in the past. We thought it fitting that the "thank you" items the 249th sent us would be used to help another TDF unit.

The flag has a sad story and one that I feel we need to remember; none of the flag signers are still serving. Every one of them is dead or left service due to injury. I think this flag would serve well as a memorial to those who not only fought for the freedom of Ukraine, but fought against tyranny itself.

If you can't tell, the tryzub plaque is really freaking cool. It is made from spent bullet casings.

In closing:

Several of you continue to remind me: we don't know what tomorrow will bring, but today I can act. If you can donate to support the Ukrainian defenders, that's great, but do not feel discouraged if you can't. There is plenty of non-financial ways to support Ukraine; contact your state and federal representatives, attend Ukrainian rallies, or even just remind people in your everyday life that Ukrainians are tenaciously fighting for their lives and culture against an enemy that desires Ukraine's complete eradication. Spread the word, stand strong, and, as always, thank you again for being the type of people to support Ukraine.
