Building Connection Right at Home

In Jackson County, building a community where everyone feels safe, valued, and connected starts right at home. While nearby regional hubs have extensive networks, Jackson Pride Center serves as our community’s direct link to trusted information and inclusive local spaces. Our revised mission drives everything we do: "To strengthen connection within our diverse community through advocacy, grassroots support, and collective action." We know that in a working-class community, every dollar matters. You don't need to make a large financial contribution to create real impact. When we come together through small, direct actions; whether that is setting up a $5 monthly gift on Givebutter, purchasing a tote bag or shirt from our website, or sharing our campaign with a neighbor, we collectively keep vital programs running. Your support directly funds local grassroots efforts: Resource Linking & Referral, Youth & Family Support, Health & Wellness Collaboration, and Community Connection. Our vision is clear: "Creating a safe, healthy, and inclusive community where LGBTQ+ people and their allies are supported, connected, and resilient." Together, through collective action and community care, we keep Jackson County strong, inclusive, and connected.
