I grew up poor and it's important to me that I give my children more (and better) experiences than I had growing up. Both of my children are autistic which makes for extremely stressful days.
They love the outdoors—spaces that don't feel too busy or overwhelming are great so we can all connect to nature. This grant would allow me to purchase the right equipment so I can take them to places like Amicalola Falls here in Georgia, a beautiful hiking trail that is wheelchair accessible!
