I am a single mother of six wonderful kids. My oldest is 14 and my youngest are 5 year-old twins. We live in Wyoming and I have recently left a severely abusive relationship. I want to travel with my children but my finances won’t allow it, as I am currently also in heart failure.

I would love to experience any moments I can with my children—they are so gifted and have the most humble hearts. I just want to give them the things I never got as a child. We can get so caught up in technology that sometimes we forget to just be together. This grant will encourage us all to spend more time outdoors. On this family adventure, we plan to explore Colorado—someplace new we have never been—and bond as a family in the great outdoors!
