Help Us Raise 10% of our $1.5 Million goal to Build Regenerative Supply Chains

Farmers need dependable markets. Communities need affordable, nourishing food. Our environment needs healthy soil, clean water, and thriving ecosystems. We’re building a regenerative supply chain that support all three.

Through Farm Fresh Markets, Square One Foundation is moving from planning into implementation. Our goal is a circular economy that strengthens livelihoods, keeps resources in use, and makes nourishing food accessible across income levels.

Our planning is supported by the California Department of Food and Agriculture Community Food Hubs Planning Grant. Now, we’re raising $1.5 million to help acquire and strengthen an existing, revenue generating food business as our first operating foundation, building responsible infrastructure that supports producers, expands community food access, and advances environmental stewardship.

We need your help raising 10% of that goal, $150,000, to keep this work moving while we secure the larger investment. Your support will help sustain implementation, cover essential operating costs, and provide critical resources for small and midsize producers, including infrastructure support, farmer first aid kits, and cash stipends for Producer Advisory Committee members.

No economy without ecology. Healthy ecosystems sustain our food and livelihoods. Your support helps build a food system that invests in both.
