One year ago, the doors of the Fayetteville Community Center & Performance Theater opened with a simple vision: to create a place where people could gather, connect, learn, celebrate, and belong.

Today, that vision is alive.

Our Community Center has become a gathering place for Fayetteville and the surrounding region—welcoming neighbors for exercise and wellness programs, dances, educational speakers, cultural events, community celebrations, fundraisers, civic gatherings, family events, and so much more.

Now it's time to take the next step.

Our Next Chapter: Completing the Second Floor

To make the entire building accessible and fully usable, we are launching a Capital Improvement Campaign to complete the next phase of our special facility.

The total cost of the elevator installation and second-floor completion is approximately $750,000. To responsibly manage this investment, we are moving forward in two phases:

Phase 1B — Complete the Elevator & Second Floor
Our first priority is completing the installation of a fully accessible elevator, opening the second floor to people of all ages and abilities. Once the elevator is complete, we will turn our attention to flooring, walls, lighting, HVAC, restrooms, interior finishes, and the remaining work necessary to bring the second floor into full community use.

We are also looking to our community for more than financial support. Where appropriate, volunteers will have opportunities to contribute their time and talents to portions of the Phase 1B work, helping us stretch every donated dollar even further.

This Building Belongs to Our Community

This project is about much more than finishing a building.

It's about creating more room for classes and educational programs.
More room for community organizations to meet.
More room for celebrations and cultural events.
More opportunities to welcome visitors to Fayetteville.
And a fully accessible facility where everyone can participate.
