We’ve put in the work. Now, help us cross the finish line.

At Wild Willow Redemption, every horse deserves a safe place to land.

As WWR grows, so does our responsibility to make sure the horses already in our care—and the ones who will need us in the future—have safe, secure pastures where they can rest, heal, and begin again.

Over the past several weeks, our board members, volunteers, friends, and family have been hard at work doing everything we possibly can ourselves to reduce the cost of this fencing project.

And when we say hard at work, we mean it.

We were able to reuse all of the T-posts already on the property. One by one, they were pulled from their old locations, moved across the ranch, driven back into the ground, and set along the new fence lines.

Additional T-posts were donated, and thanks to the generosity of a donor and one of our board members, we were able to get the 7-foot T-posts needed for the lake and creek areas of our pastures.

Then came the work.

For weeks, we pulled posts.
We moved posts.
We drove posts.
We set posts.

And finally...

We made it. The T-posts are DONE. 🙌

And all of that work mattered.

By reusing the materials we already had, accepting donated T-posts, purchasing only what we truly needed, and putting in the labor ourselves, we were able to save approximately $10,000 on this fencing project.

Now it's time to finish it.

The remaining professional fencing work will be completed by JKE Services. Their crew will take everything we've already accomplished and get this project across the finish line, including:

Installing the no-climb horse fencing
Building and setting H-posts and braces
Installing the top wire
Setting and relocating gates
Completing the remaining installation needed to make these pastures safe and ready for our horses

What does this fence actually make possible?

This isn't just about replacing or moving a fence line.

It's about increasing how many horses WWR can say “yes” to.

The new fencing adds approximately 5 acres to one of our pastures and another 2 acres to a second pasture.

That's roughly 7 additional acres of usable pasture for our rescue horses.

Before this expansion, our space limited us to rescuing approximately 1–2 horses at a time.

With the additional acreage and safer pasture configuration, we expect to be able to help approximately 3–4 horses at a time when our resources allow.

That means when we receive the next call about horses needing somewhere safe to land, we'll have more ability to help.

It also allows us to help horses we may not have been equipped for before.

The new no-climb fencing isn't only an upgrade—it creates a safer environment for the horses in our care.

Importantly, the safer fencing and pasture configuration can also allow WWR to consider rescuing and rehabilitating horses who are partially blind or blind when we're otherwise equipped to meet their individual needs.

Those are horses who can require additional consideration when finding an appropriate rescue placement.

For us, that makes this fence about so much more than property improvement.

More acreage.
Safer pastures.
Greater rescue capacity.
And the ability to open our gates to horses with different needs.

That's what we're building.

And we're already a long way there.

The remaining professional fencing project is expected to cost approximately $16,000.

But once again, someone in the WWR family has stepped up in a BIG way.

❤️ A WWR board member has pledged $8,000 toward the fence.

That's HALF of what we need to finish this project.

And that comes after our volunteers, board members, friends, family, and donors helped us save approximately $10,000 through donated and reused materials and weeks of hands-on labor.

We've done everything we can to stretch our resources:

Approximately $10,000 saved through materials & labor.
$8,000 pledged by a WWR board member.
$8,000 left to raise.

Can you help us do the rest?

We've put in the work.
We've put in the time.
We've stretched every resource we had.

Now we're asking our community to help us cross the finish line.

Every donation gets us closer to completing these pastures—and every completed pasture gives WWR more room to answer the next call.

Whether it's $10, $25, $50, $100, $500—or simply sharing this fundraiser with someone who believes in what we're building—every contribution matters.

We don't expect our community to build this alone.

We've already started building it together.

Now we just need your help to Fence the Future.

Because somewhere out there is another horse who is going to need a safe place to land.

We want to be ready when that call comes.

Thank you for believing in second chances—for horses and for the people whose lives they touch.
