Join Katherine Winters and Megan Klassen of Feral Women of Bakersfield for an evening at Okihi designed to get you outside and feeling confident in the wild. We’ll explore a night hike led by Katherine Winters, try a variety of simple camping meals, and get hands-on with essential camping gear so you can feel more comfortable setting up camp on your own. A relaxed, fun, and slightly wild night under the stars.

Snacks and light refreshments will be served.

Who we are:

White Wolf Wellness Foundation was founded in 2018 when partners, Katherine and Stephen Winters, identified an opportunity to utilize the non-profit sector as a way to bring their mindfulness-based wellness programs into the communities that might not otherwise have access to them.

What we do:
To help create a healthier, happier community we offer yoga, meditation, sound baths, mindful outdoor-access and outdoor educational classes. We do most events on our 14-acre riverside event space called, Okihi located 20 minutes from downtown Bakersfield. See our calendar to find our scheduled events and other offerings.

Why it matters:

Access to nature is essential in this human experience. We need wild green spaces to be inspired by and places to connect with deeper learning experiences. We also believe music, meditation and movement are powerful healers and directly serve as a catalyst towards positive change.
