At Elm, we strive to see our children discover their passions, talents, and power to enrich their communities. One way we hope to accomplish our mission is to offer enriching field studies for every student at each grade level (K-5th).

For students, field studies create opportunities for first-hand experiences that encourage critical thinking, long-term retention, an appreciation for the natural world, and increased curiosity.

On behalf of the 450+ students at Elm, we kindly ask for your support in providing educational experiences for all of our learners.

* Kindergarten- Brooklyn Children's Museum, Puppet Works, & Green Apron Kitchen

* First Grade- Tenement Museum, Hudson River Museum & Planetarium

* Second Grade- Apollo Museum Workshop, National Jazz Museum in Harlem, & American Museum of Natural History

* Third Grade- Museum of the City of New York, New York Hall of Science, Queens Zoo

* Fourth Grade- New York Aquarium, Museum of Illusions, Holocaust Memorial Museum

* Fifth Grade- Ellis Island Immigration Museum, Queens Zoo, Museum of Chinese in America
