Join us at Miami Film Lab's - Filmmaker Night, unwind with colleagues and meet future collaborators. Tickets are $10 and our venue is offering $10 drink specials! Event will be restricted to those +21. ID will be required. So pry yourself away from your computer and come mingle with South Florida's filmmakers. If you work as Cast or Crew, if you make commercials, documentaries or narratives, if you work all the time or just trying to get your feet in the door we want to see you there! Share news on your new projects, find new collaborators or just vent about the 16 hr day you just wrapped. This will be a monthly event on the third Thursday of every month. Please note: - street parking available but car pooling or ride shares are highly encouraged. - By attending, participants acknowledge and grant Miami Film Lab and it's sponsors the right to use any photographs and video taken at the event, that they may appear in, and grant us the permission to use that material for our organizational and promotional needs.
Story
Miami Film Lab is a non profit production company working to support local filmmakers as they work to make a living telling Miami stories.
Our goals are to:
Raise Awareness of the amzing talent working in our community! We want the public and the industry at large to know our filmmakers and the incredible work they are prodcuing. You can see many local films right now on our YOUTUBE Channel.
Provide Mentorship to local filmmakers from industry professionals to elevate their work both practically and artistically through programs like our Development Series.
Produce Films so that we are our own gatekeepers supporting the stories that reflect our community and that provide living wages to our cast & crew members. You can support our first production Miami Magic HERE!
